How to get your blog posts retweeted

Step #1: Write really helpful, really powerful content that people will naturally want to share.

Step #2: Name drop so people will want to share your blog post for their own vanity. Such as, Top 100 Start-up Blogs or Top 50 Women in IT on Twitter or Top 28 Twitter Feeds on Education Policy or Top 172 Blogs About Cats.

#4: @BarackObama -- The leader of the free world, Barack Obama is the 44th and current President of the United States. Although only half African American, he is widely regarded as the first African American to hold the office. He is also the 43rd and a half caucasian to hold the office. President Obama is commonly referred to as a "Marxist Communist Socialist" as well as a "Conservative, to the right of Ronald Reagan and Dwight Eisenhower, who is ignoring climate change."

Little known fact: The President was not born in Kenya, but may have, in fact, been born in the United States.

#5: @TaylorSwift13 -- Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for your Twitter account, I'mma finish writing about it in just a moment, but @Beyonce has one of the best Twitter accounts of all time. One of the best Twitter accounts of all time!

Little known fact: While @TaylorSwift13 has 32,258,224 followers, there are 12 better Taylor Swift Twitter handles.
